Browsing this website, booking a call, or exchanging emails with us does not create an accountant-client relationship or engage us to perform any accounting, bookkeeping, tax, or advisory services. An engagement begins only once we've agreed on scope and you've signed a separate engagement letter with Kevin Wenig CPA LLC.

These Terms govern the website and any client tools (like Forecasht) separately from — and in addition to — whatever engagement letter applies to the services you've hired us for. If the two conflict on a matter the engagement letter specifically addresses, the engagement letter controls.

Content on this site — including pricing, service descriptions, and any general commentary on accounting, bookkeeping, or tax topics — is provided for general informational purposes only. It isn't personalized financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice, and you shouldn't rely on it as such. Specific guidance requires an engagement with us (or another qualified professional) who can review your actual facts and circumstances.

You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes. You won't:

• attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or our systems;
• interfere with the site's normal operation, including scraping, denial-of-service activity, or injecting malicious code;
• use the site to transmit anything unlawful, harmful, or infringing; or
• misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

Some of our subdomains — currently Forecasht, with more planned — require you to log in with an account we or our clients set up. If you're issued login credentials, you're responsible for keeping them confidential and for all activity under your account; tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

Forecasht and similar tools may connect to third-party services you use, such as QuickBooks Online (operated by Intuit Inc.), to read and display your financial data. That connection is subject to Intuit's own terms and any authorization you grant them — we don't control Intuit's platform and aren't responsible for its availability or accuracy. We only use the data those connections provide to deliver the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

The site's content — text, design, logos, graphics, and the Generation Finance® and Generation CFO name and marks — belongs to Kevin Wenig CPA LLC or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial reference, but you may not copy, republish, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

This site links to services and sites we don't operate, including our scheduling tool (Google Calendar) and other properties founded by Kevin Wenig (negatism.net, entre-prepare.com, beancountersday.com). Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, which we encourage you to review — we aren't responsible for their content or conduct.

This site and any client tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the site or any linked service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kevin Wenig CPA LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or any client tool, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law, and nothing here limits or replaces the terms of a signed engagement letter governing actual professional services.

You agree to indemnify and hold Kevin Wenig CPA LLC harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
